With a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology and a Master’s in Education and School Counseling from Roosevelt University, Claudia has built her career on the belief that every individual holds the potential to overcome adversity and live a life that feels authentic, purposeful, and fulfilling. She empowers clients to rise above life’s challenges by guiding them toward self-discovery, helping them recognize their inherent worth, reshape unhelpful thoughts and behaviors, and embrace an identity that reflects their truest self. Claudia understands that healing is never “one size fits all.” Each person who walks through her door brings unique experiences, strengths, and goals, and she tailors her therapeutic approach to meet those specific needs.
As both a Licensed Professional Counselor and School Counselor, Claudia brings a comprehensive scope of expertise to her work. She provides individual, group, and family therapy to clients of all ages, from children navigating school pressures, to teens struggling with identity and belonging, to adults overcoming personal, relational, and professional challenges. Her therapeutic toolkit includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Mindfulness-Based practices, and positive reinforcement strategies. This diverse skill set allows her to adapt interventions with flexibility, offering structure and skill-building when needed, while also creating space for reflection and processing.
Over the years, Claudia has supported clients facing a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, self-esteem struggles, behavioral challenges, and the stress of major life transitions. She is especially attuned to helping individuals and families navigate times of change, such as entering new schools, adjusting to family shifts, or stepping into new life stages. Her background in school counseling provides her with a unique perspective on how personal and academic pressures intersect, making her especially effective in working with children, adolescents, and families. What sets Claudia apart is her genuine ability to connect. She creates trusting relationships through warmth, empathy, humor, and unconditional positive regard, making clients feel safe, seen, and supported. In session, she walks side by side with her clients, exploring thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, identifying patterns, and uncovering the root causes of difficulties. This collaborative process fosters clarity, resilience, and a sense of empowerment. Clients often leave sessions not only with deeper insight but also with practical tools and strategies they can apply to their daily lives.
Claudia’s greatest passion is witnessing growth unfold in real time. Seeing her clients discover strengths they didn’t know they had, regain hope where it had been lost, and begin to build lives that feel balanced, meaningful, and aligned with who they truly are. For Claudia, being a therapist isn’t just a career; it’s a calling rooted in compassion, resilience, and a deep commitment to helping others flourish.
